Why picking more numbers does not help
It is the most common Keno instinct and it is wrong. Every board on this page is solved to the same return, so a ten number card is not better value than a three number one. What actually changes is how the money is shaped. On three numbers something pays about 15% of rounds on medium. On ten it is about 49%, but the prizes at the top are far bigger. Pick the shape you enjoy, because the value is identical either way.
How this compares to real Keno
Casino Keno is famously bad value. Land-based Keno usually returns somewhere between 70 and 80%, which makes it one of the worst bets on the floor, and state lottery Keno is often worse again. Online crypto Keno is much closer to fair, typically around 97 to 99%. Every board here returns about 99.0% and the exact figure for each one is printed above. If a Keno game will not show you that number, that is the answer.

How does Keno work?
The board holds 40 numbers. You pick between 1 and 10 of them, the house draws 10, and you are paid on how many of your picks came up. That is the entire game. There is no skill in it and no decision after the draw starts.
Do more picks mean better odds?
No. Every board is built to the same return, so ten picks is not better value than three. What changes is the shape. A small card pays often and small, a big card pays rarely and large, and both give up about the same over a long run.
What is the house edge on this Keno?
Every board here returns about 99%, so the house keeps about 1%. That number is calculated from the exact chance of each outcome, not estimated. Real casino Keno is usually far worse: land-based Keno commonly returns 70 to 80%, which is one of the worst bets on any floor.
Is medium or high better?
Neither. They return the same. High pays on fewer outcomes and pays much more when it lands, so it swings harder in both directions. Choosing it buys variance, not value.
Can you predict which numbers come up?
No. Every draw is independent and the board has no memory, so a number that has not appeared for fifty rounds is exactly as likely as any other. Systems built on due numbers, hot numbers or patterns are all describing the gambler's fallacy.
Does picking consecutive numbers change anything?
No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 has precisely the same chance as any other five numbers. Every combination of five is equally likely, which is why the paytable only cares how many you match and never which ones.
What are the odds of hitting all 10?
One in about 848 million. For comparison, hitting 5 out of 5 is one in about 2,611 and 3 out of 3 is one in about 82. The full ten-number card is a genuine lottery ticket.
